Welcome to my Squidoo page on dating and relationships. Think of me as the Carrie Bradshaw of VividLife (distributers of my column). The only difference is I am not on Sex and The City, and not a woman (and not married to Matthew Broderick but I would gladly take his place).
Relationships make a life not what you do, own, or earn. I am a firm believer that money and stuff do not bring happiness. If they did, rich people wouldn't need therapists. But they do. Several studies have shown that lottery winners are no happier 28 days after winning the lottery then they were before winning.
As the world economy has been tanking, people have less money or no money and cannot "buy" happiness anymore. During the last few months, many people that I have spoken with talk about having financial difficulty and the stress on their relationships because of it. Hopefully from this column, I can help you and your family through the next few tough years.
This column will explore various types of relationships. It will discuss family, friends, and romantic relationships. Feel free to send me questions and comments so I know what the readers think. Thank you for taking the time to read my first weekly column.
