Whether You Are Twenty Or Fifty This Dating Advice is For You
Dating involves nervousness, unsureness. meeting a few losers, wasting a bit of your time, and enjoying some of the other time.
But ultimately dating is about finding a man that makes you feel happy and loved. Someone that you can envision being with for the rest of your life. The problem is that we tend to do the wrong things on dates that push away men or make us look like someone we are not. We do these things unconsciously and then wonder what happened afterwards.
You think we would learn but there are some people still going in the same circle over and over again and not understanding what the heck they are doing wrong.

The First Date
How To Present Yourself To Get A Second Date
Remember these are only tips to follow if you want to impress your date. If you find him to be a bit of a shmuck then you can do the exact opposite of these tips and hopefully send him running before the date is over.1. Don't be late! - Even though you can blame it on a getting ready and taking your time to look good it doesn't look good in the eyes of a guy. It shows a lack of interest and gives a sneak peak into your personality that may not be attractive to a guy.
2. Don't talk about how many failed dates you've had lately. - First off you may think you are playing a pity me card or just plain sharing information but what you are really doing is making him wonder what's wrong with you.
Keep the fact that you've had more dates in the last week then your whole lifetime to yourself and give him a chance to form his own opinion about you.
3. Keep yourself honest...by not lying - You don't have to reveal everything that you don't want them to know yet but you should definitely not lie about something just to impress them.
For instance if you don't want them to know you hate the restaurant they picked you don't have to exclaim your hatred for it (not a good idea) but you don't have to say you love it.
You can let them know a few dates later that it wasn't your favorite place in the world but for now just focus on the date.
This goes for anything you talk about that you don't want them to know yet. There will be time to let them see the 'whole' real you, but in the meantime don't lie about yourself, just don't exaggerate the truth.
4. Positivity always is best. - You don't want to sound like a skipping country record. You know, my dog ran away, my parents hate me, and my best friend is an addict. This goes with number 3.
You don't have to say your life is perfect but do not be negative, at all, on the first date.
People are naturally attracted to happy and positive people. That's how you want him to view you.
5. Do not come on too strong. - Even if you are desperate to settle down and stop dating do not let that shine through every pore in your body.
Desperation is a sure fire way to scare off any man.
The Second and Third Date
Etiquette To Keep The Interest Alive
So if you've complete your first date successfully then chances are you are already lined up for a second or waiting to here if there will be a second date.Use this time wisely. Don't get caught up worrying about whether or not he will call or what the next date will be like. Worry about that when the time comes!
Keep yourself busy and distracted so that you don't drive yourself crazy thinking about it - plus you will have lots to talk about when he does call.
When he does call, keep the desperation to a minimum, and be that sexy and mysterious woman that he is interested in getting to know better.
That's what second and third dates are really good for! You get to know each other now that the first impression has passed the test.
So stay positive, stay honest, and stay interesting. Don't worry about what he thinks because that will come across as insecurity which is another unattractive quality you can have.
Online Dating - A Few Tips For Success
You can't knock online dating until you try it. It doesn't mean you can't meet men in the offline world. It just means you don't have the time to or you would rather sit at home and find the man of your dreams. There are so many people online right now that you are almost guaranteed to find a fit for you AND someone who lives close to you. Some of the sites that I have been on have had tons of guys near me, and I live in a small town in Alberta. But yet there they all were!
There are a few rules with online dating sites that I would follow so that when you end up going on a date with your chosen prospect you will not look like a liar or a phony.
1. Be Honest About Your Physical Traits - Taking 20 pounds off your actual weight and adding a few inches to your height is not okay. There are guys interested in your height and weight and you will find them by being honest. On the other hand, if you meet with the guys who are interested, and better yet expecting, your fake height and weight then why would you expect them to be happy with the type of 'honest' person you are. Keep it real.
2. Keep it Short and Sweet - Do not write in your profile your whole life but instead highlights of who you are. Remember that you want to catch a guys interest in little things about you so write about the most interesting things you've got going for you.
3. Don't Give All Those Interesting Things Away Though! - Save some for the first, second, and third dates.
4. Avoid Complaining About Anything. - Do not complain in your profile or during any initial conversations with someone. I can't stress enough how unattractive complaining is and it's something that we all need to be aware of when we are speaking or talking about ourselves.
5. If their profile seems to good to be true then it just may be - Be wary of over exaggerated profiles from the men you are scoping out. I'm not saying that they are not a rock star but you need to make extra sure that you are not being played. Guys that lie on their profile may have a better chance of lying to you in person as well. Those are the guys you are trying to avoid.

How To Get a Relationship Off on The Right Foot!
It's important to build a solid base in your relationship before you start adding more layers to it. If you start off on the wrong foot in your relationship then you may have holes and cracks that can cause problems down the line.
Here are some tips on how to get a relationship off to a good start!
1. Have a good base of trust. Don't start out the relationship with trust issues. If you find that you or your partner is causing reasons for the other to have trust issues then smooth those out before you find yourself to far gone into the relationship - but still with trust issues!
2. Communicate effectively early on - Don't wait until you are in a relationship for a year to start really asking for what you want - it will seem out of character and weird if you've never done that before! This is why so many people who are scared to communicate the REAL feelings end up suffering later on in the relationship. So right from the get go be honest about how you feel, think, and act.
3. Be yourself - Really this is just an extension of the above two. In fact, it is the star of a good relationship. It's easy to be fake in order to impress a guy we like and then slip into our real selves sometime down the line, but it's not good for our relationship. Think of it this way. If he doesn't like you for who you are then he's not good enough for you!
