Chris Daughtry, from American Idol, has released his first album self-titled "Daughtry". If you haven't bought this album yet, you are really missing out! "Daughtry" is everything Chris' fans hoped for and much, much more.

"It's Not Over" is the first release off "Daughtry". "It's Not Over" is a soulful song about something we can all relate to, Love. Have you ever been in love? Well, you aren't alone! You also aren't alone if you didn't get it right the first time. "It's Not Over" is about second chances and making those second chances mean something.

"Home" is a song Chris Daughtry wrote long before Americans fell in love with him on American Idol. "Home" is a beautiful song about coming home after being away for too long, another event many of us can relate to in our lives. Some would say that Chris Daughtry was having a psychic episode when he wrote the song "Home". I say Chris knew he would one day realize his dreams through hard work and determination. Therefore, it wasn't so much a psychic episode as it was real knowledge that he would, one day, feel every word he wrote.

One of my favorite songs off the "Daughtry" album is "Used To". "Used To" is about trying to reclaim True Love. Chris Daughtry's soulful singing of the lyrics, "I look around me, and I want you to be there.' Cause I miss the things that we shared. Look around you. It's empty, and you're sad 'Cause you miss the love that we had", transports you to a time when all you wanted was to make that special relationship work above all else. Can you relate? I thought so!

That is what makes this album so fantastic. We can relate with all of the songs!

Do yourself a favor and buy this album as soon as possible. Every song on the album is phenomenal! I don't say this lightly. I find it very hard to enjoy complete albums these days, but "Daughtry" is one of a kind. I love every single song.

Chris Daughtry puts more heart and soul into his lyrics than I've heard in a decades worth of music. In my opinion, Chris Daughtry could very well become the next "King of Rock n' Roll". Chris shares that vulnerable, wholesome, sex appeal that Elvis had in excess.

With support from his fans, Chris could take us all on a rapturous ride that we'll never want to end. I don't know about you, but I've been ready for someone as charismatic and talented as Chris Daughtry for a long time now.
