David L. Ramsey III (born September 3, 1960) is an American financial author, radio host, television personality, and Motivational speaker.
Ramsey's syndicated radio program, The Dave Ramsey Show, is promoted with a tagline that it is about "Life and Money", and it is heard on over 400 radio stations throughout the United States and Canada, as well as on XM and Sirius satellite radio. He has written numerous books. His books and broadcasts often feature a conservative Christian perspective that reflects Ramsey's own religious beliefs.

The Dave Ramsey Baby Steps to being Debt Free
Dave has broken debt freedom down into 7 steps. If you follow them exactly, you'll be debt free as soon and as safely as possible.- Start a Mini Emergency fund with $1,000 in it (Do it Now! 2 months on this step Tops!)
- Pay off all of your debts using the Debt Snowball Method.
- Enlarge your Emergency fund to 3-6 months of expenses.
- Invest 15% of income into IRAs and other appropriate retirement plans
- Fund College for any Children.
- Pay off your home early
- Easy Street! Build up wealth, give it away, travel, help others, do whatever you want!
