David Tennant is a familiar face to any Doctor Who or Harry Potter fans, having played the 10th Doctor in the TV series of the former, and Barty Crouch in the movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The ladies may also remember him from when he played lead role in the BBC drama Casanova.
David Tennant at a Glance
David Tennant (born David John McDonald on 18 April 1971 in West Lothian, Scotland) is a Scottish actor. In addition to his work in the theatre, Tennant is best known for his role in Doctor Who as the tenth incarnation of the Doctor.
Prior to this however, his name was known in Casanova as the title character, and as Barty Crouch, Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

- He has a BA in Dramatic Studies from Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama
- His first acting experience was touring Scotland in a minibus for 7:84 Scottish People's Theatre
- David's been a life-long fan of Doctor Who and begged his agent to put him up for the part. He even had a little Tom Baker doll when he was a child.
- He has auditioned 16 times for a role in detective drama Taggart, but never got a part!
- David knew he wanted to act from the age of three.
- He is 6'1" tall (about 185 cm)

"From that point on I absolutely didn't want to do anything else," says David. "It's odd when I think about it. I don't quite know where it came from or how I could be so sure that becoming an actor could happen, but it never seemed an unlikely or unusual thought to have. It was probably to do with being brought up to believe that things were possible and you could be whatever you wanted to be."

- David Tennant is Handsome Hot Stunning & a WONDERFUL actor!! i love him... i mean who dosent? but i kinda think that its weird 4 girls 2 go gogo eyes on him (lol) i mean... its not like ur ever gonna marry him... yeah i wish i could but hes an actor... he could have ANY girl in the world... sorry if i hurt anyone's feelings but that is what i think! what im trying 2 say is he's the HOTTEST man on earth, hes an actor & has a gf... he picked her out of everyone else... so were all gonna have 2 get over it! but hes AWESOME on Dr Who!!! i almost started crying when i found out he was leaving!!! sorry 4 offending anyone! =)

- haha, another Doctor Who fan! My gf and I love the new versions (at least we've seen season 1-3, waiting for season 4 on netflix).
I was addict as a kid, every saturday from 5:20-7pm there'd be a few episodes on channel 21 (wliw). Jeez that must have been 25 years ago.
