David Villa was born as David Villa Sanchez on December 3rd, 1981 in Langreo, Asturia, Spain. He made his debut as professional soccer player in Sporting Gijon B from 1999 until 2001. Then, he played for the main team of the soccer club from 2001 until 2003. In 2005, he moved to Real Zaragoza before he moved to Valencia several years later. In 2010, he moved to FC Barcelona and he has been playing for this soccer club until now. His international debut is very remarkable as well. He played seven times for Spain U-21 national team from 2000 until 2003 but he scored no goals during that period. Then, he made his debut for the senior team when Spain met San Marino in a friendly match. From that moment on, he has been playing for Spain in FIFA World Cup 2006, Euro 2008 and FIFA World Cup 2010 where Spain won the game.
