Oregonian David Anders seems to be more convincing in roles that have him using his British accent, as he did during his stint as Julian Sark in Alias, with Jennifer Garner. In his latest role as Takezo Kensei in Heroes, he plays a Japanese-speaking Englishman.

David Anders (born David Anders Holt on March 11, 1981) is an American television and stage actor. He is best known for his role as Julian Sark on Alias, and for his role as Adam Monroe on Heroes. Although Anders is American, both of these noted roles required him to use an English accent.
