David D. Daggett - Attorney, Triathlete, Community Leader, Husband & Dad

Hello and welcome!   I'm David D. Daggett.  I am a founding partner in the law firm Lewis & Daggett and also a founder of Safe & Sober Prom Night, a non-profit program that encourages high school students to pledge to stay drug and alcohol free on prom night.  In addition, I have competed in over 145 triathlons, including 17 Ironman competitions - 5 times at the Hawaii Ironman World Championship. And I am a husband and proud father of 3 wonderful children.

This is a gateway lens of sorts...designed to lead you to my other lenses on specific topics for which I have a lot of passion...triathlons, helping injured people and promoting healthy choices for teens.  You can also click to read my Blogs for Lewis & Daggett and Ironman, or see excerpts below.

For information on Ironman, and Ironman training see:  David Daggett Ironman.  I hope you will enjoy learning about some of my Ironman philosophy.

Thank you!

Safe & Sober Prom Night

It's All About Saving Lives

As a personal injury attorney, I have seen first hand the pain and suffering that drunk driving can cause, not just for an individual, but for entire families and communities. A desire to prevent these effects led us in 1990 to found Safe & Sober Prom Night a non-profit program designed to encourage teens to say "no" to drugs and alcohol. The program is free to schools in North and South Carolina and since its beginning over 400,000 students have pledge to stay drug and alcohol free on prom night. For more information, please visit our website at www.safeandsober.com. We would be honored to bring this fine program to your school!

As a Freshman at ISU, I wondered who would be my first roomate? In walks a muscled, very tan, good looking kid by the name of Dave Daggett! He had just finished a summer of loading and unloading train cars in Tennessee. "I wanted to challenge myself!", he says. Still the same! God Bless!

This is most informative and a balanced look at your values and personality, not just your legal schmooze. If I were still in busines I would develop my own, based on this as a model...... Go David!!
