I agree with you on the fact that David Hype Pearce's character on the show Frazier really made the show a big hit. I loved it when he and Kelsea Grammer's character's debated on the show. They both gave their opinions. After they had their classically debates the father would would stop it or join in.
The only movie I have seen him in is Sleepless in Seattle when he played Meg Ryan's brother. I especially liked the way he gave Meg Ryan advice on whether to move to Seattle or not. He quoted,"We had to either get married or break up so we got married."

david hyde pierce is one of the most hilarious characters,ie; niles i ever was fortunate to watch.although i adored every frazier episodes, niles was who i always looked forward to any and all of his antics.i guess i will forever remain single...just thought i would add that since it appears very nurotic that if i cannot have him anything else would just be blowing smoke....

didn't watch Frasier when it was running but watch repeats.I am CRAZY about the acting of Mr Pierce.Have Never had anyone make me laugh so hard.I get 5 reruns a day and watch them over and over.What a talented man!!!
