Davinci Parker Crib

Sturdy, attractive crib for the price. Fast shipping! After many hours of research and checking out some cribs in retail stores, decided to order the DaVinci Parker Crib in Oak based on the many positive customer reviews I read. We didn't want to spend an outrageous amount on a crib, but also didn't want to waste our money on a cheap flimsy one. As mentioned by other reviewers, this is actually a Million Dollar Baby product which receives decent ratings in the Baby Bargains book (a highly recommended book, by the way).

The crib arrived within a couple of days with Amazon Prime shipping. Box was intact and in great condition upon arrival, which was pleasantly surprising since that seems to be a problem for other reviewers. My husband and I were able to assemble it within an hour or so, only making one mistake along the way, but it was an easy fix. I definitely recommend referring to the picture of the finished product on Amazon because we had some confusion as to which side of the "headboard" and "footboard" should face out, and the illustration in the directions wasn't too clear. Also, it does not mention anywhere in the directions where to use the washers, so we just used them everywhere that they fit. The finished product feels very sturdy and the oak color is true to the depiction on Amazon. We didn't bother assembling the trundle drawer as we don't really have a need for it, but we'll hold onto it just in case we decide to use it in the future.

Although our baby has not yet arrived, I am very satisfied with this crib from a shipping, assembly, and quality perspective. I too was hesitant to buy something so large online without seeing it in person, but as usual, the Amazon customer reviews proved accurate and we are very happy with this purchase!

I love this crib! My husband and I purchased this crib to have at our house. We are first time Grandparents and wanted a nice, safe place for our grandaughter to sleep when she comes to visit. I read all the reviews before purchasing and was fully aware that the crib was not white, which was perfect for us. The furniture in the room where the crib is set up is vanilla, so it matches exactly. We are completely satistifed with the sturdiness of the crib. We have not yet assembled the trundle drawer, as I am not sure I want to use it. I was very surprised that the toddler guardrail came included. I am sure that it was in the description when I ordered it, but didn't even read that far. I knew just looking at it that this was the crib for us. I will agree the directions were less than stellar, but I put it together myself in an hour or so, so it wasn't that bad.

Overall, I love this crib and can't wait for my little grandaughter to be born any day now!

This is the crib of my dreams I am a FTM and so I of course shopped around for cribs for a long time.. checking reviews, safety, and stats on about 16 different sites that were selling this crib. I also was using the Baby Bargains book and it said MDB/Davinci got a B- for its soft wood cribs that can scratch easily.
I decided on this crib for a few reasons:
*The coffee color was unique, and I knew I wanted something dark wood.
*All the reviews were great, only complaining about the trundle drawer which is kinda stupid and some minor nicks in the wood..
*the fact that it isn't a dropside rail, It is a sound structure, they designed the front rail to have a swoop so mother can easily put the baby in and out of the crib..
*Its a convertable crib, and can be used as a toddler bed, daybed and full size bed.
*There are 4 mattress position levels, most cribs only have 3.
* And the price on Amazon was the best plus I got free shipping, It was shipped that night and arrived scratch free in 3 days!!! I was shocked!
My husband was put to work that night and with my help holding sides up while he screwed it together it only took 1 1/2 hour. He said the instructions were easy to read, the only struggle he had was trying to figure out which way the legs screwed in as they aren't labeled, but it worked out and it looks AMAZING!! I love it so much!
