This lens will explore the ideas around making art in real world time, sharing that with others (selling, bartering) function (all art functions) and the economics of those enterprises. World peace can only be achieved through the inclusion of making. This idea is called Swadeshi, which literally translates as self-sufficiency and "The Village Movement". It was popularized in India by Mahatma Gandhi in the early 20th century. Today, its potential has far reaching possibilities, given access to the internet.
