3rd Zombie Film's The Charm?
Day of the Dead (1985)
is the third movie in what is known as the 'Living Dead' series by George A. Romero.
Romero had visions of making this third film something of a big budget zombie movie but artistic and budget disputes caused the funding to be slashed and the story rewritten. This film is more dialogue heavy then the previous two films in the series; Night of the Living Dead (1968)
& Dawn of the Dead (1978)
. This departure from the previous films is what has caused its reviews to fall below the prior two. This film has the distinction of introducing the first talking zombie in the 'living dead' series who goes by the name 'Bub'
.
The film has been remade once; Day of the Dead (2008)
.

- I agree is not the best of the first trilogy, but yet, it's a great movie!

- Loved this film, Cannot understand how Romero could get it so wrong with his last three films.
