Are dead birds and fish talked about in bible verses? Why are there dead birds falling out of the sky across the globe? Why are tons of dead fish and other sea life washing ashore dead? Are we near the end of time? Is this the Apocalypse? Man, I have a bunch of questions! These things and more are discussed below, along with options for your input as well!

A strange thing happened on the cold New Years morning of Jan. 1st 2011 in small town Beebe Arkansas. Dead birds fell from the sky. Residents woke up the morning of New Years Day to a weird site outside their doors. Thousands of dead Red Winged Blackbirds littered yards, streets, and roof tops of neighborhoods throughout the small town. But the story doesn't end there!

Just 125 miles up the road, near Ozark Arkansas thousands of dead Drum fish were found floating on top of the water. Then, just a few days later, more dead birds have turned up in yards in Kentucky, Louisiana, and Sweden as well. The same species of birds - the Red Winged Blackbirds as well as other species of birds were found these other times.

So what is going on? What caused the deaths of these birds and fish?

There have been reports of large flocks of dead birds in Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Toronto, and Sweden so far. What is going on with these birds suddenly dieing off and just falling right out of the sky. So far scientist are baffled. Test are being run and we should have some sort of better news soon I hope. Right now we are feed such claims as New Years Eve fireworks killed them, or possibly something from the weather.

Recent search terms to find this page consisted mainly of people searching for "dead birds" because they were looking for the news report, more recently, the search terms changed into "dead birds in the bible," "apocalypse," "dead birds in the book of Revelation," "birds falling on New Year's biblical," "birds dropping from the sky bible," "birds fish die bible" "the book of revelation dead birds dead fish."

It seems to me that people are very interested in the biblical aspect of these dead birds.

I think everything is dying because it's so emo. It's looking for a way out and there's no escape so they just hurl themselves to the ground and smash into the first thing they see, or just come up from the water and stay up...or swim to shore and dry out. We all know the world is one big ball of trash and some of us are just tired of livin in it..isn't it about time you all decided the same thing? What's gonna happen now? "The Happening"? I have to say that my thoughts went immediately to 2012 & the Mayan long Calendar ~ scientifically speaking it is a fact that solar activity has been increasing for a number of years & will peak at an all time high in December of 2012 ~ Increased solar activity & solar flares can change climates, cause natural disasters & cause radiation to leak into our atmosphere, along with lots of other bad stuff ~ So a bunch of dead birds & fish seems kind of creepy.

No, I think we have a long way to go yet! I do think things like this should be seen as warnings, however, to be more careful with how we treat the planet. Whether it is toxins, chemicals or government testing, it's a sign that we need to change. Also, it reminds me more of FlashForward than 2012 - the experiments in that made dead birds fall out of the sky!

Dead Birds, Fish and Now Dead Crab

If dead birds and fish wasn't enough to startle you, then add 40,000 dead crab to the list of mystery dead animals. The BBC reports that this is the third year in a row that thousands of dead devil crabs, also known as velvet swimming crabs, have turned up on the coastline near Kent, England. It is estimated that 40,000 of the dead crabs have washed up on the beaches this year.

    I think its obvious that it is the chemtrails that have killed these poor creatures. The day before the 30,000 fish died in the Metroparks in Strongsville, the idiots sprayed soooo many chemtrails, that me and my husband and the folks downstairs had to close the doors to breath. A thick cloud hung in the west, a huge cloud, covering the entire western sky. That was the direction of Strongsville. The fish died the next day.

    I'm not advocating for the Apocalypse theory, but there's something very scary going on with our world when we see massive bird kills and fish kills. I'd put my money on the cumulative effect of many small contributing factors - bio-accumulation of synthetic or overused chemicals, climate change, disruption of migration patterns, breeding habitat, food sources, etc. by human activity, and so on - now reaching the "straw that broke the camel's back" point, one species or one locale at a time. It is hard to retain a sanguine attitude toward the future of the planet, some days. *blessed*

    I think there are many different causes but in the U.S.(and probably other countries) government agencies and individuals often poison flocks of birds they deem to be nuisance birds. Bodies of water are sometimes poisoned to get rid of invasive fish. Add that to birds and fish that die of disease,weather,misuse of pesticides,illegal disposal of chemicals and environmental toxins and you end up with a lot of dead wildlife. We are supposed to be stewards of the earth but we aren't doing the job that was entrusted to us.

    This is an excellent reference for what is happening to the living things around us. Some years ago, my Uncle and Father spoke about dead birds in unusual areas, and realized it was due to man. For example, when someone gets a zoning variance for a cell tower, skyscraper, dam, bill board, etc., seldom are migratory patterns studied to prevent the birds from running into a wave of radiation, power lines, or a building that wasn't there before. Birds migrate in flocks, and most of the time they are not considered as being victims of construction and celebration. (In my childhood, the only time fire works were going on was the fourth of July. Only the Chinese celebrated their New Year with fireworks. Now the mayors of many cities deemed it their duty to have a New Years Eve celebration with boom-booms loud enough to knock the birds out of the sky. I am willing to bet no one studied any migration patterns, or the effects of sound waves on birds in flight. Also, one of the articles mentioned here are members of a branch of government poisoning birds to prevent them from accessing food. (Obviously not the brightest crayons in the box), but they are not alone in their pattern of destruction. There are many forest rangers/managers I know of who would drain and destroy a small lake or pond that has been around for a hundred years to 'improve it.' Each time the result has been a horror scene of a dried up fishing hole with dead dried up fish in it. When they 'refill the pond' and restock it, it takes many, many years to correct what man has destroyed.

    Great lens. I think that the birds dying is a result of a combination of things-natures way of providing eco-balance, a warning from God, once again, about how out of balance the earth's resources are in contrast to how quickly and destructively we are using them up. Thanks for keeping people aware.

    I'm going with either something environmental or government testing - it reminds me of the storyline in FlashForward with all the dead birds falling out of the sky!

    I'm for Chemtrails, in fact, I can go outside right now, look up.. and there they are! NO, not "Contrails"... Chemtrails! Does anyone else even see them?

    I keep hearing the authorities saying that these kinds of mass animal/bird/fish deaths "happen all the time"...but if that is true, why are we only just now hearing about it?
