Promoting the music artist and providing an innovative new approach to music discovery for fans is not always easy in the decline of today's industry, but Dead Famous Artists International has put their finger on something that is turning heads.

Welcome to DEAD Famous International- the new record label, licensing, artist management and distribution entity from the Astral Records & Music team. Here is the new face of simple and no-fuss artist development and management, with both physical and digital distribution that creates the ultimate testing platform for new artists that are trying to make the cut and get to the pinnacle of the new music economy today.

The DEAD Famous team is made up of (5) industry professionals that include Mike Puskas (CEO Astral Records & Music and Mike Puskas on My Space), James Lucente (CEO of Lucki Entertainment in Florida), Phil Haywood (CEO of Flashpoint Media in the UK) and Jenny Seibold (MD of Artist Alliances in Germany). We have recently brought on Joel Wanasek of JTW Studios in the US to handle Mid West A&R for the label and also David Todd, ex-front man for the UK band Existend and a journalism major to handle UK A&R for the label. All of the players are respected and well-established A&R professionals with proven track records in the international music industry and know a great, commercially viable act when they hear one.

The label and management team are growing leaps and bounds, and we have just signed a (3) year label output and release deal in the US with KOCH International and Nightmare Records/Nightmare Records and distribution by KOCH International. In Canada we have a release and distribution deal with Fontana North and Universal Distribution for all hard rock and metal releases. We are currently in negotiations with other major players in the UK and Europe including a label release deal with NetzoneMusic through Rough Trade in the GSA and all PR and marketing handled by the proactive Brainstorn Group in Berlin.

The new digital deal with CDBaby, IODA, and MGM Distribution will see all DEAD Famous record releases distributed into over 150 digital retail outlets around the world which include I Tunes, Burnlounge, MSN, CD Baby, Rhapsody, CD Plus, Napster, Yahoo Music, AOL now, E Music, Audio Lunchbox etc. All these releases will be effectively marketed through a strong promotional campaign which includes all mobile and PDA wireless delivery networks and international licensing and a slate of major rewards-style programs around the globe.

We are currently looking to sign (3) new acts in 2009 and have already picked up three quality artist which include, Maura Murphy (Los Angeles), Stimulator (Los Angeles), Paparazzi Whore (London), The Vaine (Sydney), Cavalar (London), Amelia Bloom (Australia) and The Art Nova (Melbourne).
