This is Moose! Moose's ears don't work, because he is deaf.
In June 2008, Moose was looking for his furever home while being cared for by the wonderful folks at the Alliance for Responsible Dog Ownership in Indianapolis, Indiana. In their care he learned sign language and found a wonderful home.
Thanks to very caring individuals, new training methods, and education, deaf dogs are living amazing and wonderful lives.
Here we will share information, training resources, and wonderful stories, all about deaf dogs in the hopes that we can spread the word that just because a dog's ears don't work, they can still be a wonderful addition to any family.
