Welcome Cleo
CLEO!!!!!!!
There are some downs with having a deaf kitten though. You can't call her name
You can't scold her
You can step on her if you have the vaccume.
She bites even if you say No
She can't hear the food.
She can't hear you in the middle of the night walking(so you step on her)
You can't say her name with her understanding.
and She can't hear anything behind her.
But there is always a plus side to having a deaf kitten.
You can call her anything
you can scream and not scare her
she sleeps really long
you can make her jump 2 feet in the air
you can play with anything with her.
Okay then
So with every kitten, there are favorite playing spots. For Cleo, it is the piano, under the bed, and her play pen type thing. This is her inside the piano while I am playing. "It doesen't matter if you have a loud object. She will still attack it."
What she gets into
Pie, whip cream, milk, ice cream, Toilet paper, water, shoes, socks, any food item on the table, bath water, Plactic bags, The piano, under the bed. dads shirts, marbles, packing peanuts, paper, backpacks, Dust, flys, hair brushes, anything on string, anything made of feathers, Bat, blankets, Clocks, and lights. She is also very found of pens and markers if you slide them on the floor.
Deaf Cats
most deaf animals are suggested to be put down. Dogs and cats are a great example of this. Most people don't want to get a deaf animal, beacause they think it is going to be too much work training them.
Bat Cat
Oh my gosh I love watching him and Cleo play. He is finally figuring out that he can play with Cleo. Cleo and the feather toy
She loves this feather toy we got at the dollar store for my aunts cat. And there is feathers everywhere. Ahh how cute
But how annoying she may sound she loves to suck-up to my grandmas and my friends. If they pick her up, she is so sweet and calm, but when we hold her she can't sit still for 5 seconds, but whenever my Uncle comes over she runs for her life. NO where to be found. UPDATE
newest things cleo has done in the past few days
July 15, Cleo was sitting on the counter in love with a chicken pot pie. she had some bad gas.Okay today July 24, Cleo knocked over our projecter and broke it. She also ruined half of my DVD's by knocking them over.
July 26, Cleo got into my orange juice, and now is orange kitten. Also as we were trying to fix the vacume (which we still are) she tried to get onto the table but didn't quiet make it and then just wlked away slowly into the vacume and then ran the other way. it was hilarious. And knocked over every thing on my mom's dresser just to lay their.
okay for the last week cleo has had two baths, she first ot into my doll house and knocked if over, then last night she knocked over my moms decorations in her bathroom and knocked all of the rocks into the bathtub. then she was laying in oatmeal which she didn't fit into the bowl. then she also knocked of ou flower pot all over the floor, if our camara wasn't broken i would show you guys the mess. we had to get a water bottle to scold her with, beacause she can't hear no and well she hasn't got on the table agin yet. She is so much bigger and is also a big sister to four kittens
Please write what you think.

- We had a white cat with two different coloured eyes and she was deaf. She had no problems with it at all. Apparently deafness runs in white cats.
Thanks for the lens.

- A friend of mine had a deaf cat when we were growing up. She trained it to come when 'called' and know when the food had been put out by knocking on the floor. 2 knocks meant she wanted the cat, 3 meant there was food. The cat felt the vibration through the floor and after a while it learned to come. But it took a few weeks. Cleo is adorable, I love cats that get into mischief!

- my mom had a deaf cat for years and years... was white
I currently have a blind cat (also white), he's my best pal, I've had him for 12 years now. Except that he walks really slow as to not bump into things, you'd never know he was blind, he gets around just as good as our other cats.

- just dropping by to visit Cleo again. :D I adopted a new pup and she needs lots of TLC for awhile. She was abandoned (or lost), and is starting to feel much better now. She went swimming about a week ago with my other pups. And, now she is even coming up to me for huggles.
:D
Brightest Blessings,
GypsyOwl
