How To Begin Dealing With Jealousy

I would say that almost every person on this Earth has at some time in their life dealt with that feeling in your stomach of anger and envy all at the same time.

It can eat away at a person and completely ruin a relationship. Jealousy is one of the deadly sins, and often it is not considered deadly at all. Compared to some I guess it is not as serious. But the repercussions of being a jealous person can sometimes be no less great than those of other 'sins'. It totally ruins relationships and lives.

If you let it continue it can cause even worse things to happen inside your mind.

Emotions Of Jealousy

Jealousy is actually a mix of different emotions, and can be felt to lots of different degrees.

Some of the more common feelings that people experience are pain, anger, sadness, rage, grief, and humiliation. Sounds really bad and it can be. If it continues you can actually get some physical symptoms like aggressive actions, questioning, faint, trembling, sweating, and it can even lead to acts of violence.

You must learn ways in coping with it, but Dealing With Jealousy is not as difficult to do as you might imagine.

Ways Jealousy Is Shown

There are bad ways in which jealousy can be shown, and this is often quite common.

For example, the way that you take your jealousy and anger out on other people can be extremely damaging. You can put a major strain on your relationships and friendships, especially if it gets out of control. You know that it is serious when the people around you walk on eggshells, trying not to upset you or set you off.

But beware! They will not do this forever. Eventually this behavior will drive them away all together! Your constant emotional roller coaster will discourage friends from wanting to deal with you.

Working On Jealousy Issues

You must attempt to work on your jealousy issues. Yes people do get hurt, but life must go on.

You must recognize that If you hold in all of these things and carry those jealousy feelings to your next relationship, it will be over before it even gets started. You must realize that not all people in your world are bad. Not all people will hurt you and the sooner that you realize that the sooner you can move on.

When you are getting these feelings bubbling up take a few moments to calm down. Do not let them come out. Remember that this could ruin everything and that this person did not hurt you.

Having supportive friends is who you should surround yourself with is a huge bonus. The best way to do all of this is no matter what the situation, think positive thoughts.
