LOSING A BEST FRIEND, DEALING WITH PET LOSS

"ANGEL" Our Litttle Yorkiepoo Social Bookmarking

Hoping and Praying this day would never come

I PRAYED GOD'S WILL BE DONE

We were told ANGEL would probably not make it, the vet gave Angel 2 days,
enlarged heart, and all the complications that come with it, When you have a pet so special, suffering is not what you want her to go through,

Difficult is stating it lightly, it hurts to say
goodbye to such a faithful friend, MY HEART IS SAYING, "HOW DO I DO THIS",
All pets have their own unique personalities, Angel was embedded into our lives, with just a bit of attitude, lots of love, which made her so special.

remembering "ANGEL"

thanks for the love you added to our HEARTS AND HOME

I miss my constant companion, or as many referred to as my shadow,

After 12 years?

Every square foot of our house and yard, holds a special memory of "Angel," Angel came to us at a time when we had lost one of our 2 american cocker spaniels, "Cinnamon" and "Charlie". We lost Cinnamon
to liver cancer.
Our daughters bought us this beautiful yorkiepoo and said, to call her "Angel" Charlie's angel, We lost our "Charlie" in the early spring LAST YEAR, leaving us with our little Angel, "I guess now her job is done".

I know alot of people would figure this is a little irrational behavior on my part, being just a pet, i would tend to agree, but it has been life changing to me, trying to fill this empty spot in my life.

I know with god all things turn out to the good, I BELIEVE i will see her again, but for now she is sorrowfully missed.

How do you explain?

It's pretty difficult when,

our little ones go outside and look up in the sky, and say gramma, where is Heaven?, how come God took Angel?, When will we see Angel again?,

Grammma how come you're crying?

I couldn't answer, because i couldn't stop!

My sweet little Grandkids got a whole new look at Gramma.

For all who have lost a beloved pet

We will see again one day

I felt it may help to give this tribute to my precious little pet,

When the day came to take our angel in, we stood by her, saying goodbye to the best friend we ever had.
god has a purpose for our lives, i guess angels job was done, but she is sadly missed,

Thank you "ANGEL'

MY BEST FRIEND

IMPOSSIBLE TO REPLACE

I feel at times, a betrayal, in adding my "new" precious puppies so close to losing my 'ANGEL", but i try to remember, i guess i just didn't add them soon enough. I am positive angel would have loved
LULU and MAX, Angel was taken quickly with little time to prepare,

I lasted exactly 4 days, OUR HOME FELT EMPTY

ENTER a new friend "LULU"

Its funny how a new puppy seeems to know what we need, between tears and joy, i,m on a roller coaster ride of emotions,
I have to say, here we go again. "LULU" has already earned that special part in our heart, i guess that old saying is true "fool for punishment"

WITH GOD ALL THINGS TURN OUT TO THE GOOD

UPDATE

WE HAVE ADDED ANOTHER PUP TO OUR FAMILY, Max,
our little cockashitzu, He is quite a challenge, playing it cool with me, i love him already to pieces, he is quite unsure of me.

Life carries on

But it sometimes amazes me to see so many of the exact traits of lost pets, in our new puppies,

I am going to sound like i've really gone over the edge,
but EVERY NOW AND THEN my husband and I LOOK AT EACH OTHER IN AMAZEMENT
LULU OR MAX, will do something our little Angel did, at the time, and in the same way. It makes you smile, wondering if it is GOD'S way of letting us know, everything is going to be ok.

update: ALMOST 2 MONTHS

i love my new pups!

I'M NOT LOOKING FOR SYMPATHY, I AM JUST BEING HONEST WHEN I SAY, THERE IS STILL A HOLE IN MY HEART,

I KNOW ANGEL IS IN BETTER HANDS NOW,

LOSS IS VERY HARD TO DEAL WITH, EVEN WITH OUR PETS,

I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE MYSELF, I FEEL LIKE A CHILD,

I STILL HAVE MY EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWNS MISSING ANGEL,

HER NAME IS BARELY SPOKEN ANYMORE, BUT SHE SURE LEFT A LASTING IMPRESSION ON MY HEART AND SOUL.

my little 'ANGEL"

with GOD all things turn out to the good,

We may not understand why something we love is taken away, but i do believe i will see my ANGEL again.

thanks all for caring,

I totally understand what everyone went thru and is going thru with their pet. We had a female black Labrador who was a family member. Her name was Shadow. She was with us for 14 years. She grew up with my kids when they were little. She was so smart, lovable, protective, loyal. I do miss her. Even as I'm writing this, tears come down my face. She was so much a part of this family. She was our kid. Even though now my daughter got a dog recently. And guess what, a black lab, lol. I've quickly become attached to this puppy. But, I will always remember Shadow. All dogs go to heaven! Shadow, I love you and I miss you.

I understand very well the message of this lens. My family and I have just lost 2 of our 4 dogs within weeks of one another. It was devastating. They become such a big part of our lives that it's just so hard to let go of them. I'm so glad, though, that you've found other pups to share your life with. I believe that's an important part of healing. 5*

I thank everyone who has contributed to this lens, I HOPE THIS WILL HELP OTHERS GOING THROUGH THIS HEART WRENCHING JOURNEY, I especially appreciate hearing the understanding of emotions, it makes me feel it is normal to feel the way I do, that others have felt these emotions too! I thank you all very much, Kathy

There is no greater loss then a friend,
    or loved one.
And the pets of my past have been both.
So lovingly we think of them.
But we regret what we didn't do for them.
And if they were with us this moment in time
And saw us in such a state
Their head would rest apon our lap,
Their eyes would look and say,
I love you, I loved you and thats all that matters.
    And everything will be OK.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I know how you feel.
