My Favorite Ways to Get Deals & Freebies.

My very favorite place to start finding deals is the Sunday edition of the local paper. You can match ads and coupons to get items free or close to it. Many states have double coupons. If you live in one consider yourself lucky. Unfortunately where I am in Florida, they are few and far between. I have found in this case that BOGO's are my best resource. A BOGO is a Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal. When you find a BOGO, match it up with manufacturers coupons. In most instances you can use 2 coupons, 1 for the item you paid for and 1 for the free item. This makes for some free and close to free transactions.

Drug stores are great for finding bargains! CVS is my favorite for getting things free or close to free. If you don't have a CVS card, GET ONE! When you purchase specific items you can get extra care bucks. Most weeks they advertise 1 or 2 products that you can get free by getting that amount back in an extra care bucks coupon. These coupons now autoomatically print at the register when you buy the right item(s). The trick is to use your ECB's to purchase more "free after ECB" items. The cycle is vicious and addicting! To top it off, you can use manufacturers coupons as well! Ouch! Money back for buying something for free?!?! That's the best kind of deal!

Walgreens has many "free after rebate" deals. You can also use the Walgreens coupons in their ad WITH a manufacturers coupon. Zoinks! More freebies!
This is why so many people get multiple coupons. You can stock up when you find a great deal. Most sales recirculate every 12 weeks or so. Planning is everything! Whatever products you don't use, give it to charity!

Another favorite place to get deals is Target. Target has end caps. Oh my!! Did you know that you can find some great bargains on these end caps?! These are the shelves at the end of an isle. Target clearances out their stuff up to 75% and holiday merchandise goes on sale for 90% off at its best.
Clearance at any store matched up with manufacturers coupons can benefit many families trying to save money. Just remember this....Get lots of Sunday coupon inserts by asking friends to share or by buying more than 1 paper and scope out the perimeter of the store your in for that hidden gem. It really does work!

Deal Links

This is a list of my favorite sites to find deals.
Gotta Deal
Tons of posters are letting you know where the hot deals online are. This is my favroite category on the forums.
Hot Coupon World
Oh My Heavens! Hot Coupon World is best for getting your grocery list ready. Posters are consistently finding ways to get free groceries with sales & coupons and more. I love this site for my local grocery shopping sales.
Fat Wallet
What else needs to be said. They named it Fat Wallet for a reason. I like this site for all kinds of deals and also financial discussions.
Slick Deals
Slick Deals seems to be a combination of the above. They are a little less organized as far as I can tell but they seem to have more of a variety of deals.
