Death Note
I was very impressed when watching Death Note the movie, either the first or second film. The story is very good, so detailed and unexpected ending.
Then I had to find out about the Death Note and Death Note movie was derived from the manga story with the same title. Death Note written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. Death Note episode tells of a high school student named Light Yagami as the main character in the story, who discover a supernatural book, "Death Note", dropped to earth by the death god named Ryuk. The Death Note grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose name they know, by writing the name in the notebook while picturing their face. Therefore, Light's attempt to create and rule a world cleansed of evil using the notebook. But a detective named L tries to stop him.

Light Yagami is a genius high school student who resents the relentless increase of crime and corruption in the world around him. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die, as well as various other rules. Though Light is initially skeptical of the notebook's authenticity, he realizes that the Death Note is real after experimenting with it on criminals. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a shinigami (death god) named Ryuk, Light plans to become a god and establish a new world order by passing his keen judgment on those he deems evil and anyone who gets in his way...
Death Note Characters
Light Yagami / Kira
The main protagonist in Death Note, Kira normally would refer to Light Yagami, however, the title of Kira can also be used to describe any human user of a Death Note. The title or entity of Kira is one of the two opposing forces in Death Note, the other being L. Light was the first human to use a Death Note (excluding Kagami Taro and Miura from the pilot story) and holds the title of the First Kira. Light is an extremely intelligent, yet bored 17-year old student who is not satisfied with the current justice system. When he finds the Death Note intentionally dropped in the human world by the shinigami Ryuk, he decides to use it to kill criminals. L Lawliet
The main antagonist in Death Note, L Lawliet, known universally by the letter L, is a world renowned detective that takes on the challenge of catching the serial killer known only as Kira. L is the world's top-rated detective who takes on the task of tracking down and arresting Kira. He often uses drastic strategies to confuse and force the hand of his opponents, and his disheveled appearance disguises his brilliance and genius. In his investigation, L becomes highly suspicous of Light Yagami, and makes it his goal to prove that Light is Kira. L heads the Japanese Task Force, a team of police officers dedicated to Kira's capture. L's successors later solve the Kira case. Misa Amane
As her name implies, Misa was the second human to use a Death Note. Misa obtained her Death Note from the Shinigami Rem. Misa is a popular Japanese model. She is immature and tends to refer to herself in the third person in an attempt to be cute. Misa was initially an extreme Kira supporter, due to the fact that Kira passed judgement on a man who murdered her parents. As such, and because she is simply far less intelligent, Misa begins to follow Light's orders after she reveals her identity to him. All in all, she was merely a tool to Light, losing her memory and making Kira's judgments many different times to draw suspicion away from Light. Ryuk
Ryuk is the main Shinigami of the Death Note series, and the owner of Light Yagami's Death Note. Bored with the activities (or lack thereof) of the Shinigami realm, Ryuk obtains a second Death Note by tricking the Shinigami king and drops it in the human realm for someone to find, hoping to amuse himself. This Death Note is found by Light, leading to his attempt to rid the world of evil, and easing Ryuk's boredom and Ryuk follows him around for much of the series to see how Light uses it. Nate River, universally referred to by the mononym Near, is a fictional character who is one of the main antagonists in the manga series Death Note. Near is the younger of the two successors of L who was investigating both the methods and identity of Kira. Near is a calm and stoic character that appears in the second half of the series. He subtly represents an albino-like figure with his white hair, and plain white clothes. Near is a primary candidate to become L's successor and calls himself N during the course of his investigations. Sometime after L's death, he works for the United States under the SPK (Special Provision for Kira) team that is established to investigate Kira without the help of the new "L" Light Yagami.

- Ryuk is my favorite character in Death Note, don't you think it's cute how apple (the original fruit of sin) is the favorite food of the master of death. A fun lens!
