Debunking Ghost Hunters International

This has already been debunked as Dust. Everyone knows when you flash cameras at tiny spots of dust you get reflections and what not - specially when that dust is your own roundish skin cells (which fall off of everyone all the time)

Debunk: photos of skin flakes is not attractive or impressive. Wasted Time and Energy photographing dust. You can even sneeze just before a picture and/or video and tape all that dust moving around in supernatural looking way (when its really a sneeze or something).

Lets start with the concept Day and Night. Everyone knows the sun heats the earth right (maybe I'm giving people too much credit). Well we would like to think you know sunlight on you equals warm feeling, if not a burning feeling. OK so there they are in these massive concrete building with temperature gauges. When the night comes all that heat that was absorbed gets released, much like a hot pan letting the heat out. Concrete building like a parking structure have been known to feel nice and warm even after the sun sets. Does a warm parking lot structure feel supernatural to you? The earth has been spinning cooling and heating for long before humans have been here. We call this affect of heating and cooling " Weather" not spirits.

Debunk: Temperature fluctuates all the time. Weather is that phenomena. Chasing a tornado with a microscope doesn't work and neither does temperature in the house. There are lots of things we don't know like the weather at a location like the average temperature, the season, and maybe something so simple like normal heating and cooling paths of a house. Not enough information is presented to make an accurate assessment for the views.

Debunk - Those walkies talkies have a talk button. You can push the talk button and make a ghost light magically appear. A flickering light is not paranormal, its stupid and pathetic attempt to capture so called evidence when you know damn well you have none. It Should also be noted we don't know who is carrying cellphones on them. Each cellphone can easily clash with the evp/light crap. We don't get to see the equipment used does not generate any frequency. We do not get to see their walkies talkies don't generate interference.

And last - while GHI focuses on the light - Anyone can be out of frame creating the right interference to make it flicker.

Debunking the Mysterious Heat signature. Temperature camera and a mag lite can make this effect. I know how sad you have been duped yet again by so called second generation wanna be ghost hunters. Do you think its a Ghost? Sad to say this trick and yes its a trick can be debunked with a flashlight with a strong enough heat signature to generate on the surface. Im sure you have done it. Got that Big flashlight with the C batteries or Maybe you used a mag lite - those are great for making a small circle and you can adjust the size of the light to create the effect. LED lights are useless in this case unless the heat cam is that sensitive.

Debunk: Electronic Voice phenomena is a lay mans way of communicating with spirits. Its a shame it's way late in the game of hunting for spirits. While its a nice idea, EVP should be trashed all together. We are in the Broadcast Century (mention this again). Individual cell phones and cellphone towers broadcasting, Satellites, Radio Stations all broadcasting waves left and right and round the globe 24/7. Picking up a thought to be stranded voice impression is not impressive. There is no such thing as " electromagnetic free space". Who hasn't heard their computer speakers do that little electronic buzz when you put your cell phone close to the speakers. We don't call cellphone interfering with your speakers supernatural.

When I was younger I had a rocket set and walkie talkies. I took the Walkie talkie and cut the rubber off the antenna. I then took the walkie talking and attached it to the rocket launcher just by contact and some scotch tape. The rocket launcher was my bigger antenna! All I had to do was slide the walkie talkie left and right to tune into what is around. I picked up radio waves and even a cordless phone conversation. Its not supernatural. You could even do this with any copper pipes or wire if there long enough.

Contrary to what people think, the earth is one big natural Electromagnetic Fields. Measuring the changes in tiny locations is a joke. It's bad enough Ghost Hunters are chase the little changes in the earth. Since the Earth is a spinning globe with a north magnetic pole and south magnetic pole. Is it a shock you picked up EMF everywhere. What do you think of minor EMF now? Do we get to know if they are under concrete or iron deposits. Do we get to know map locations and see where known electromagnetic fields are present. Do we get to see power grid maps?

Debunk: Geology introduction course explains north and south Magnetic Poles (hint hint Google it). The Earth is filled with natural EMF all over the world. The earth is a spinning EMF. Without EMF cellphones wouldn't work, Satellites, Radio waves. Communication depends on this massive electromagnetic field. Conclusion, finding any signal inside the EMF is not a supernatural, its human. Some people have been known to pick up radio signals on the bounce in far off places.

Oh you gotta love this. Aside from there is no real reason for taking pictures in the dark, You gotta love the shooting video in the dark. How bout the fact that the pictures look grainy. Your not told the resolution or the MB on the Camera (assuming its digital high resolution). Please turn on the lights and record. It might save us from having to see dust photos.

Debunk: Take your web cam and try filming yourself in the dark, I Guarantee your gonna get random colors and even Shadows. Once you see a shadow form, your mind will look for anything to association with it. Much like your Jesus Cheetos, The Cheetos looks like Jesus because people have been condition to associate a certain man look and call it Jesus. There are no actual images of Jesus to present date that exist. Yet people find Jesus everywhere. Humans can't help but look for the Anthropomorphic in anything and everything. That's what Ghost hunters does with the " Shadow forms". Its trying to make humans out of inkblots. Psychologist got that crap down solid.

Granted when the show Started on the Scifi (T.A.P.S.), it was cool and I liked the attempts Ghost Hunters made to document everything. The show has spin off to create Ghost Hunters International with more "personal experience" that has no evidence what so ever with the viewer. Watching Ghost Hunters International feels like an extended version of Blare witch! You get a whole Lotta show and Ghost Hunters International is suffering from some actual Evidence. I now changed the channel when Ghost Hunters International is on.

Debunk: Psycho Social conditioning - like watching the movie SAW. If you see a room like the movie saw your gonna get uncomfortable, Movie association. Much like with Castles we are social conditioned to think they are Haunted. Big equals scary. Dark equals scary. No lights equals Scary -- get the picture. Cometary equals scary. You get the picture. It seems a little too easy to get lost in the size of a place and the scariness of a place with a group mindset then by yourself and sometimes your imagination runs away with you. While GHI do attempt to Monitor and watch the building for evidence, the key point is focus on the evidence and not your personal experience. Who gives a fuck if you think its haunted - when there is no proof. At least with shows that include mediums later tell you historical documentations about a place to validate or disprove the medium info.

I use to think that second versions of things get better. I am so mistaken with GHI. I have made a few attempts to try to watch Ghost Hunters International and I cant stomach the stupidity. Like I said a great idea for a show but the execution sucked!
