The malleable nature of pewter has been harnessed for thousands of years, at least since Roman times, and the metal was at one point highly prized.
Usually each label hangs on a chain around the neck of a bottle or your own red wine decanter. Of course, a full variety of spirit labels can be chosen from besides red wine, and there is a blank label to identify any other type of wine or liquor when there is no inscription for a more exotic drink type.
You can find the decanter tags either readily available, or you can have them custom made and custom engraved.
