Homemade Dog Treats are really tasty, healthier than many shop bought dog treats and Mum says they come in really handy for training too!
A lot of shop bought dog treats have lots of additives and they are pretty expensive too, so why not make your dog happy with some of my tasty and healthy homemade dog treats!

Tasty And Healthy Fresh Breath Dog Treats
These tasty and healthy, homemade, fresh breath dog treats take hardly any time to make, they are economical and Declan loves them. He's tested them out on his pals, and no one has turned their nose up at them yet!The addition of parsley really helps to combat that doggy breath!
Ingredients for Tasty Healthy Fresh Breath Dog Treats
- 3 large carrots
- 3 heaped tbs of porridge oats
- 1 heaped tbs wholemeal flour
- 1tbs of cod liver oil (you can use vegetable oil instead)
- 2 tsp dried parsley
How To Make The Tasty And Healthy Fresh Breath Homemade Dog Treats
Chop the carrots to a pulp in a food processor and tip into a large bowl. Mix in all the other ingredients until you have a consistency whereby the mixture can be rolled into balls in the palms of your hand. If the mixture is too wet, add more flour or oats.
Roll the mixture into balls - any size you like to suit your dog.
Place the balls on a non stick baking sheet and bake in the oven at 150 degrees C for about 40 mins until the balls have a firm chewy texture.
When cool store in the fridge in an airtight container. Will keep for 7 - 10 days.
