I think this is a great idea, especially because looking at everything at once is often overwhelming and the reason it's so hard to start decluttering! 30 days is a lot of time to focus on specific areas and decide on things that are good to keep and some that just have to go! I also think that seeing the progress over a week or two weeks in can help to stay motivated :)

This sounds like a project I need to try. I've lensrolled this to:

Thanks for some very helpful information! I am guilty of accumulating clutter. I will have to challenge myself to do this!

As seniors, we have been decluttering for the past 5 years. We do not need things to trip over for sure! And we have lived in the same place for over 30 years, so clutter was everywhere! First big step - our adult children came and emptied the attic. They took their childhood "treasures" to their own homes and everything else to the dump. Then I cleared one closet for holiday items. (Seniors do not need to go to the attic -- ever!) Gradually, I am decluttering this little house. Paper is my most procrastinated item. From time to time, I make a "rule" that I have to declutter 15 pages a day. I think it grows here overnight! wonderful page! Thank you for the inspiration!
