Welcome DIY-ers! Let's dabble and decorate together!

I have done several art, decor, and DIY projects over the years that have turned out very nicely. I never pay much for material, I love finding new ways to repurpose things, and I always do it myself if I can. I want to share and would love feedback from anyone who enjoys the same!

and would love you to share with me.

I have recently remodeled my kitchen, but it was very inexpensive, and I live in an apartment complex that doesn't allow us to paint, so I did it anyway, but in a totally removable way. I covered the old wood stain with wall size then tissue paper while wet. Then I painted them with latex then poly and they look great. The best part is, it's totally removable when I leave, it peels right off. I also resurfaced my ugly butcherblock counters with black epoxy, lightly sprinkled irridescent glitter while wet, then covered it all with a dozen coats of poly and they look just like real black granite! My tiny kitchen looks brand new and much more spacious with the creamy ivory color and granite-look counters!
