Elegant Christmas Decorating Made Easy

Another easy idea is to find a pretty cake plate and place a candle in the center of it. Surround the candle with some beautiful greenery, you could use real or artificial for this. Place some elegant glass balls around the candle and nestle them into the greenery! There you have a super simple but elegant centerpiece for the Christmas season. You could change the candle color to whatever suits your decor and use whatever color glass balls that go with your home.

These candle holders are ones you can fill. Sometimes I fill them with glass ornaments in a certain color scheme other times I've used natural elements like rocks, sand and pretty gem stones. This time I filled them with fake snow on the bottom, a snow tipped pine cone, some red shiny berries and a silver ornament with red accents. Then I placed the top of the candle holder on and added a tea light candle. Makes a pretty statement.

This is a tall vase with amber coloured swirls on it that I filled with glass balls. We have very high ceilings in our home and above our front door in the entrance is a large ledge. At Christmas I like to put large items on this ledge to make a statement this vase is one of the items I used last year. I had it placed with some large wrapped gift packages and then a large artificial plant in the other corner with white mini lights on it! Always fun to put together.

Here is the vase of ornaments on a table with a beautiful gold glass Christmas tree. It's fun to mix and match different elements and try them in different areas of the home, you never know what great ideas you'll come up with! It especially looks pretty at night with all the shimmery sparkle!

In this photo I have just taken a beautiful swag that can be hung on the wall,(looks fabulous above a framed picture) or can be layed appropriately on a table. I added this round gift box behind it for another interesting look!

For this wreath I chose silver glass balls and hot glued them in place in sets of three. I made a ribbon bow and glued it to the top of the wreath. For this you can chose which ever colors suit your look, I use silver accents in our family room so this was a great accent in there.

Another great idea is to add some beautiful potpourri. This can be purchased in many different colors for the holiday season. It can be added to a beautiful glass bowl or can look very elegant layered in a tall glass vase. Just try a few different looks until you get the one that you love. It's so fun to play!
