Well here we go getting started!

My goal over the next few weeks will be two fold. 1 is to keep this updated as best as I can and 2 is to finish redecorating my home.

I have spent the last few months working my rear off and have now taken off the rest of the year. Hopefully with this I will be able to finish some much needed projects. Including wanting to change out all the switch plates in my house to something with a little taste and just different. White plastic is just boring. While doing this I will purchase most of my items from amazon and ebay. Much cheaper even with the shipping then going to local hardware store. I hate saying that since I really like to support local businesses and I understand that it is hard for them to be competitive with this online world... But money is money and I have to take care of myself first.

if you are planning on undertaking a similar project i would highly recommend that you make sure that all electricity is disconnected that goes to the outlet. No reason to get a shock (I am funny I know...) Simply flip the breaker and plug in a hair dryer and see if it comes on. If you want o play it even further safe then call someone who knows what they are doing or has experience working around electricity. The first time I did something like this I called my little brother who is a pro at working on small electric components and the such... After that is straight get in the decorative spirit and get decorating!!!

I will post pics and the like as soon as I can.
Thanks!
