A Real Treasure From My Past
Decoupage purses were a popular fashion trend back in the 70's. I was in my early teens when my grandmother painstakingly made this purse for me.
I carried it with pride, not just because it was a popular fad, but because it was a gift from my beloved grandmother.
Take a walk with me in the past and I will tell you how she made this purse. Who knows, maybe you will decide it is worth the time and the effort to bring this fad back to the height of fashion.

- Hey Karen, I found a few available on Amazon and Ebay. I have posted them above. Locally, they are available at my Hobby Lobby store. I checked Hobby Lobby online and found a few wooden boxes. (http://shop.hobbylobby.com/search/default.aspx?CFID=9946730&CFTOKEN=e084e5322a0667f9-A184C115-0804-D28E-201E77B6FE44611A&searchTerm=wood+box&f=DepartmentName&DepartmentName=Crafts ) I haven't seen the actual decoupage purse kits in many years. Hope this helps.
