How to prepare a Deep Fried Oreo Recipe
- Prep Time: 5 min
- Total Time: 15 min
1 Package Oreo Cookies
2 quarts vegetable oil for frying
1 large egg
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 cup pancake mix
Instructions
1. Heat oil in deep-fryer to 375 degrees F.
2. Whisk together the egg, milk, and 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil in a bowl until smooth.
3. Stir in the pankcake mix until no dry lumps remain.
4. Dip the oreos into the batter one at a time
5. Carefully place into the hot frying oil.
6. Fry only 4 or 5 at a time to avoid overcrowding the deep fryer.
7. Cook until the cookies are golden-brown, about 2 minutes.
8. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate before serving.
9. Dust with powdered sugar.
10. Serve hot
