A physician should be consulted before use if you are using photosensitive drugs, are pregnant, or have a thyroid condition.

Thyroid: When using the DPL Therapy System it will increase the circulation. When using the DPL Therapy System on the face it will broadcast down to the neck area. If someone has issues with their thyroid and they are on medication to "slow" down their thyroid this increase in circulation will counter act what the medication is doing. It is a good idea for someone with issues with their thyroid and are on medication to "slow" down their thyroid to check with their Physician to make sure. The thyroid area can be covered to prevent the lights from hitting the nape of the neck but, it would have to be something fairly thick.
