Insect Repellent

Ingredients:

Oils: Coconut, Witch Hazel, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Red Thyme, and Lavender.

What do these ingredients do? 

Coconut: - Coconut oil is an amazing carrier oil! This is a great oil for general moisturizing and serves as a protective layer, helping to retain the moisture in your skin. It also acts as a mild oil suitable for those with inflamed and irritated skin, and those with skin sensitivities (psoriasis, eczema). Coconut oil does not clog pores, making it an ideal carrier for oily or troubled skin. Also, it contains antiseptic fatty acids that can prevent fungal and bacterial infections in the skin.

Witch Hazel - Astringent, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibacterial, antifungal, and anesthetic properties. remedy for itching , stinging and inflammation. We use it as a means to propel our bug spray.

Lemongrass - Antimicrobial, Antibacterial & Insecticidal - a component in our bugspray.

Peppermint - Refreshing, stimulating. Soothing to skin itching.

Red Thyme - Anti-aging, antimicrobial, antifungal and antiviral properties. Additionally, many studies have demonstrated that this oil repells insects effectively.

Lavender - This essential oil has multiple properties that make it important for overall general health and well-being. In skin care, Lavender stimulates cell growth; reduces inflammation; balances oil production and tones skin. It has antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Lavender oil contains linalool, which also promotes healing. It is good for all skin types even that with scarring, acne or excess oil.
