Eating healthy does not mean that you can't have the occasional Big Mac if you feel like it and it doesn't mean you can't tuck into your favorite pasta. Diet is not a scary word, not like it used to be in the old days, with the Scarsdale diet, the grape diets, the cabbage soup diet, and you name it the list goes on ad infinitum.
Diet essentially means good eating, for good health! Not weighing your food and counting calories, while you nibble on lettuce leaves, just being sensible and eating what you know is good for you. Junk food is the worst thing in the world, but there is no need to be a fanatic about it.
I personally won't put a Big Mac near my lips, but not because it is a burger, because to me it tastes like cardboard. I would much rather have a big fat, juicy pure beef burger griddled medium rare, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, relish, pickles, cheese and onions, squashed between a toasted seed bun. Wouldn't you? But I also wouldn't like to eat a burger every day, or even twice a week, it is something I eat when I feel like it, and not just because it is easy to go to a drive through when I am hungry.
