delivering the best customer experience
Ranked #39,244 in Business & Work, #521,391 overall
When you are just starting a relationship with a potential customer...
...let her know that you are delivering the best customer experience to her.
A long journey begins with the first step
First things first.
When you are designing a website for an online business, the first questions you must think about is:Am I delivering the best customer experience?
Ttry to answer thinking from the customer's point of view. Make a thoroughly review of your site and procedures.
You know what steps are needed to buy your product. But do your customers (present or "to be") have the same knoledge?
One of the most upsetting experiences many customers face is not understand clearly what they have to do to purchase your product.
Generally a person will scroll down directly to the order form to know what the price is, and then go back to the sales pitch to read it.
This is done because people like to evaluate or weigh your product with a measurement point in mind.
They will read the sales pitch with some questions in mind:
- Why does this product cost that much?
- Is it worth its price?
- What do I get for that money?
- Why is this product cheaper than the competences'?
- Before I get too excited, do I have the money now?
So, let them know from the beginning!
Don't reinvent the wheel
Look what others have found out
“A happy customer will feel that you don't sell things, you help customers buy them!”
The order form
So it doesn't matter if you have THE PERFECT SALES PITCH, if your order form stinks you are in trouble. Here is were you finally close the deal with your client. Pay close attention to the details:
Security:
If you are going to accept credit card orders try to assure people that their personal information will be transmitted securely. If you are not delivering the best customer experience your customers will be very reluctant to give you their credit card details. Explain them how their information is used
Begin delivering the best customer experience to your customers with the right foot.
Offer:The final price the customer will be charged must appear very clearly.
Don't try to force people to click the buy botton by hiding the price, this doesn't convert at all!
Also describe what your offer includes, such as bonuses, your product benefits and a compelling reason to buy such as a limited time offer, to have a better response.
No questions asked
Guarantee:Delivering the best customer experience usually requires that you have to make a money back guarantee. People won't need it, but this will make them feel safe at the buying time. State precisely the requisites asked for (such as "no questions asked" or a limit in time).
