I love espresso, and this little baby makes a great cup. I chose this machine after a lot of online researching, and decided on this one based on its outstanding reviews and great price. What led me to it were the reviews of another DeLonghi, the EC140B, which is an older and less attractive model, but had reviews from people who had owned theirs for 6 and 10 years! I'm hoping that this one will have the same longevity.

I had never owned an expresso machine and wanted to learn how to make latte's and such. I did quite a bit of research and, for the price, and options, chose this one. I love it! I was a Starbucks junkie and now have learned to make great latte's, cappachino's, ect. I am having a blast and saving money.

This is a great machine! Easy to use, quick, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, makes a beautiful cup of espresso, as good as I have had anywhere. The espresso comes out strong, full-bodied, rich and lots of crema. The price is great. I am not a cappuccino fan, but I have used the frother for friends, and that works very well, too. I recommended it to an Italian espresso addict, and he loved it so much (after swearing he would only use a stove-top mocha machine), that he's buying a second for the office. It's also compact, and looks nice. The instructions at first are a bit intimidating, but you'll figure it out in 5 minutes. (Use the second method--quick-start--it's better all around). You'll fall in love.
