From Beach Resorts to Delicious Bed and Breakfasts
- The Sundy House Inn
- The best thing I could do for anyone is to tell them to stay at The Sundy House. Part bed and breakfast, part tropical rainforest, there's simply no place like it. Even if you don't stay in one of their luxurious rooms, I highly recommend their famous Sunday Brunch.
- The Colony Hotel
- Smack in the heart of Downtown Delray, the Colony Hotel offers a little bit of history and a lot of action. Dig those striped awnings!
- Marriott Delray Beach
- If you want resort-style beach action, you came to the right place. The view is to die for!
- Crane's BeachHouse
- A quaint, lush hideaway fit for a king....of leisure.

The Great Outdoors
Beaches, Parks, Festivals
- Delray Municipal Beach
- Delray Municipal Beach is one of the most accessible and beautiful beaches in South Florida. Clean beaches, cabana rental, and crazy parachute things are sure to capture your attention.
- The Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens
- Beautiful museum exhibits, tea ceremonies, bonzai and bamboo in their breathtaking garden, great sushi - these are just a few of the things you can see at Morikami.
- Atlantic Dunes Park
- This Park suits those who want more of a serene beach experience. The park is nestled in an elevated wooded area. There is a boardwalk and nature trail in addition to metered parking, a pavilion, public restrooms and picnic tables. Lifeguards are on duty from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- The Delray Affair
- An annual street festival in Downtown Delray. Arts & Crafts, food vendors, music, kettle corn. mmm...kettle corn.
- Delray Beach Green Market
- Fresh local produce and assorted goods. Plus, free yoga classes!
- Everglades National Park - Fishing
- If you're in South Florida, you're always close to The Everglades. One third of Everglades National Park is covered by water, creating excellent boating and fishing opportunities. Snapper, sea trout, redfish, bass, and bluegill are plentiful. Saltwater fishing includes Florida Bay, Ten Thousand Islands, and elsewhere in the park's coastal zone.
Be sure you know the rules and help protect one of the country's most precious natural reserves.
The Even Greater Indoors
Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, you know, the good stuff.
- Kyoto Sushi Sake Lounge
- Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Rolls galore, and an absolutely delectable Alaskan salmon sashimi that melts in your mouth.
- The Blue Anchor
- Looking for authentic British cuisine and better yet, GREAT BEER? The Blue Anchor has it. The building itself was shipped over from the island in pieces and stuck back together again. Rumor has it it's haunted too! Just don't disgrace the place by ordering a Budweiser.
- DaDa
- A two-story house built in 1924 turned, restaurant/bar/concert venue/whathaveyou. Check out poetry slam Tuesdays and their ecclectic film room.
- Bamboo Room Blues
- Just up the street a ways is a little place called The Bamboo Room. Completely and utterly worth the trip, you just have to see for yourself.
- Cabana el Rey
- Latin fusion cuisine with everything you'd expect, including KILLER arroz con pollo.
- Splendid Blendeds Cafe
- Quaint indoor and outdoor dining with a varied menu. No item is a risk. They're all phenominal!
- Caffe Luna Rosa
- Sit across from the ocean and enjoy their highly coveted Chocolate chip macadamia nut pancakes - An elusive Saturday breakfast special.
Miscellaneous
When fitting into some other category just isn't enough.
- Backbone Music
- Great record store. Jazz, blues, indie rock, punk rock, hardcore, local bands. PLUS, coffee! You love coffee!
- Muvico Palace 20
- I know what you're saying: Who the hell wants to go to the movies on vacation? You do, that's who. Once you get over the shock of valet parking at the movies, you will LOVE the Premier level balcony seating where you can totally have a beer and watch The Simpsons Movie.
