Democracy For Democrats
There are some people who think that being a good Democrat means supporting every Democratic politician, no matter what. The Democratic Rebellion refutes this simplistic idea of politics as the practice of loyalty by club.
We will support Democratic politicians, but offer strong opposition to those Democratic politicians who try to abuse Democratic voters by promoting right wing policies at the same time as they ask Democrats for support. We are entering into open rebellion against those Democratic Party politicians who have, like Joseph Lieberman, acted as parasites upon the progressive base, taking our resources without giving anything in return.
It's time that the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party stopped allowing itself to be kicked around by the right wing blue dogs. The Democratic Rebellion is taking names, and working to make sure that the undeserving in the Democratic Party are kicked out of public office.
