I am a professional musician, I hadn't planned on actually listening to my LP's when I purchased this turntable, I only wanted a quality turntable to allow me to transfer my old LP's to disc. I still cannot believe my ears when playing my 20+ year old LP's on this turntable. For small group jazz, the sound is better than the CD's I have of the same material. I have never belived that LP's could ever sound better than a CD, now I do...This turntable tracks perfectly and is easy to balance the tonearm. Highly recommended.  W. Lucas

• Manual lifter for cueing


• Uniform rotation and low flutter


• Denon DP-300F plays back at 33 1/3, 45, or 78 rpms 


• Fully automatic feature allows automtic start and stop of playback.


• Seamless switching between LP and 45's


• Built in preamp.

Cons

• Not grounded.  May produce a slight hum on your system unless you use a ground loop isolator.


• The Denon DP-300F is not USB compatible, although you may still convert your vinyl to CD by connecting the audio outs to the in on your computer's sound card.


• Could ship with a better cartridge.  Some reviewers are OK with it, some replace it immediately.

Conclusion:

The Denon DP-300F Fully Automatic Analog Turntable  is great for home installations and may be the perfect turntable for you if you want quality sound and do not require USB compatibility.  The Denon DP 300F certainly lives up to its reputation and will do your vinyl proud.
