Denver Pyle So Much More Then Uncle Jesse!

As I grew up I would watch Denver Pyle as Mad Jack on Grizzly Adams and then latter as Uncle Jesse on The Dukes of Hazzard.

However, as I grew up and my preferences for TV shows developed I sought out to find other shows that Denver had been in.

What I found was an incredible career of an American Legacy. Denver Pyle has appeared in over 200 different television series (not episodes but series) and movies. His acting career spans over 6 decades. He first appeared in "The Guilt of Janet Ames" released March 6, 1947. That same year Denver also appeared in "Devil Ship" and "Where the North Begins"!

Three reasons to love Denver Pyle

Denver Pyle has been a mentor to me. Therefore it is next to imposable for me to list only three reasons to love him. But if I had to, the 3 reasons would have to be is honesty, integrity, and his sense of honer. In an industry that can be as corrupt and cut throat as any Denver never once compromised his ethics.
