Johnny Depp is one of the most popular movie actors in the world. Depp has gone from teen idol to strange supporting characters to commanding quirky leading roles in the movies NEVERLAND, FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS, and the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN trilogy. And he's still as easy on the female eyes as always, maturing over the years from pretty-boy to dashing, eccentric gentleman and father.
The next film of his schedule for release is PUBLIC ENEMIES, opening July 1st, where Johnny plays notorious gangster John Dillinger. Depp filmed an appearance as the Mad Hatter in Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Presently he is on location in the Caribbean, starring in THE RUM DIARIES, a project he's wanted to do for a very long time where he again will play a character based on writer Hunter S. Thompson.

Johnny Depp from the upcoming "Alice In Wonderland"
Here's Johnny as he will appear as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's upcoming film adaptation of ALICE IN WONDERLAND. They seem to have gone as heavy on the "mad" as they did on the hat part. This looks set to make Captain Jack Sparrow look tame by comparison.

Johnny Depp is such a natural actor, he has such a wonderful charisma about him. He is a natural and he stays true to himself. He has a special gift of warmth and humour that comes through him. I enjoy all of his movies and I especially like "Benny and Joon", naturally because the movie has love, humour, caring and sharing, and the characters are simple and sweet. Very realistic of a regular down to earth family. They all accept one another unconditionally. Actually, the way human beings should all be with one another. There are a lot of lessons one can learn from watching this movie. It is great! This is one of my favourites. All the best to you Johnny Depp.
