Dermatend didn't work for me...
Like many of you reading this page, I had a mole (about the size of a dime) that I was tired of looking at. That brown skin growth was such an eye-sore that I decided to do something about it.
Searching for an affordable, in-home treatment, I found Dermatend. With some reluctance, I decided to try it. Unfortunately, it didn't work...and several treatments later I still had that darn mole on my leg.
I followed the directions as indicated and even repeated the procedure several times, but to no avail. So, it was back to the drawing board...

A Better Solution
After some more searching I came across another all-natural cream called Wart Mole Vanish. Unlike Dermatend, this cream claimed to remove any mole, wart, or skin tag with only one 20 minute application. Too good to be true? I was about to find out.I purchased Wart Mole Vanish and was pleasantly surprised...the cream actually worked. (It does sting a bit though.)
After the application my mole turned black and eventually scabbed. (I know it's a little gross.)
Eleven days after the application, the scab fell off and my mole was gone! (Hooray, I did a happy mole dance!)
Now to be completely honest, even though the scab had fallen off and my mole was gone, it took about six more weeks for the bright pink spot left behind to fade. However, now the spot where my mole had once been is barely noticeable. (See picture below.)
At $79.95, Wart Mole Vanish is pricier than Dermatend (which I had purchased for $49.95). But given how effective it was at removing my mole I'd say the extra money was worth it. (Funny, I can hear my mom saying "You get what you pay for!") In this case, I would certainly have to agree with mom.
The bottom line...if you have a mole or wart you want removed I would recommend Wart Mole Vanish over Dermatend.
