    Derren Brown is amazing we have seen all of his series and live shows, only this weekend we watched trick of the mind, brilliant. The guy is an absolute genius, what I would give to be like him. Nice lens.

    Derren Brown is amazing! NLP is an amazing resource. Having said that, he has pointed out in his book and other resources that he doesn't use NLP near as much as people think, and a lot of his effects are from other means.

    Wow! scary creepy... I use NLP basic stuff to help me keep my thinking and emotions in balance, but wow....

    Great lens, I like it, haven't seen much of him though I am in the UK. I think there is so much we don't know about the mind that I am sure it can be manipulated into believing things. You know when you watch a movie and you think the main character is stupid for not believing in whatever evil baddie is in the movie? Derren just makes it real life. This as recommended on the pay it forward topic in Squidu. Great lens :)

    Real zombies was the craziest special he has ever done. Although the one where he convinced someone they had a post death experience after a car crash was pretty messed up. Great at what he does.

    Wow..I was more amazed than freaked out. This is really interesting and it takes a lot of skill to perform it perfectly. Hey, I’ve just finished my second lens on a 3-step plan to achieve your Goals and New Years Resolutions.When you have a moment, I would love to hear what you think.     Derren is nice but his techneques don't always work and he just don't show the one's that don't work.

    I know a lot of what derren does is real but I think some of his stunts are put on, especially the one where the guy believed derren was invisible. Thats totaly fake.

    Actually that is known as negative hallucination in hypnosis, just because you don't understand it, don't dismiss it as fake, it is as irritating as hell.

    Living in the uk I've seen a lot of Derren brown on the tv, its very good how it comes across but for me there's always that suspicion of doubt.
    One example would be the show where he has someone stamping on disposable cups and under neath just one cup was a broken bottle or knife sticking up, now we all know our health and safety laws would never allow this - lol

    that trick can be done with no health risks and is actually quite famous. i don't know the full dynamics but i have seen the trick advertised with no danger

    Great lens! I actually just stumbledupon one of his videos yesterday. It had a teacher and students. She had to read a story and think of something not related. It was very interesting. It was like he was using subliminal messages to trick her into picking what he wanted. This guy is pretty clever. I am glad I found your lens, time to watch more youtube videos. Thanks a lot. 5* from me!

    No he didn't, he showed us the lottery numbers on ping pong balls about 30 seconds after the numbers were drawn. But he did make many people believe that he predicted the numbers which is an amazing feat in itself.[in reply to lolw00tnoob]

    Derren Brown is at least as amazing live as he is on TV- I had the amazing experience of seeing him perform in Reading (in the UK).

    He has taken magic in new directions, his books are good, too (review in my lens)!

    Hi Lewis, Kewl Tricks of the Mind lens. I've actually seen the drunk simulation in person. The same guy also convinced several folks at once that they were naked and in front of a crowd. I know these folks weren't faking it since I know them. Interesting stuff, thanx. ~Music Resource~

    I've got a question to those people who claim that Derren Brown is fake. In what sense is he fake? And what is he faking? If these two questions feel stupid, is because you keep yourselves as one.

    The freakiest trick I have seen Darren Brown do was the one where he had a guy play a video game where he was shooting zombies, and then made him go under, and then made him think he was playing the game in real life. He put him in a building and had people acting like zombies go after him.

    It was actually very disturbing. Crazy stuff.

    It's all in body langauge, and the way he says things. It takes a lot of skill and those who think it is a hoax are quite narrow minded. People often refuse to believe in things that they find impressive but realise that they would never be able to accomplish themselves. Think about it!

    Hi Copini, You seem to have missed the point of these videos! Derren Brown isn't pretending to be psychic or anything lame like David Blaine. All Brown's "illusions" have explantions in magic, mis-direction, and showmanship. Nobody is hoaxed because nobody is believing anything unbelievable.
