Derrick Morgan was dominate his junior year at Georgia Tech. His sophomore year there was little light shined on him because his entire defensive line was drafted following the 2008 season. Here is part of an article from the Miami Herald:
"""" When you're 6-4 and 268 pounds, have 12 ½ sacks on the season, 18 tackles for loss and can supposedly run the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds, the moniker fits. The Yellow Jackets just hope he lives up to the name against Iowa on Tuesday night in the Orange Bowl.
``A freak,'' Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer said. ``He's strong. He can stop the run. He can pass rush. He can drop back in coverage. He plays with passion the whole game -- a pure athlete.''
Georgia Tech cornerback Mario Butler said: ``Freakish. Derrick's first step off the ball is incredible, the best I've ever seen. By the time he is getting up and around that first step, the tackle is probably not even set, so he's already getting to the quarterback.'' Morgan, a junior, is projected by Scouts Inc. to be the fifth overall player and first defensive end taken in the 2010 NFL Draft. """"

Defensive End Rankings
2010 NFL Prospects
Defensive ends. There are defensive ends whom specialize in pressuring the quarterback and there are defensive ends in a 3-4 defense that primarily stuff the run and take on multiple blockers in passing situations. There have been some great Defensive Ends to come out of the draft... Mario Williams went 1st overall. We will never forget Gaines Adams out of Clemson. He passed away this offseason due to heart troubles. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the Bears organization.Derrick Morgan:
