- Good lens. I subscribe to homeowners who are reasonably handy doing their own planning and design and using the savings to upgrade features. Who knows better than the homeowner what they want?

- The RTA store has been importing cabinets for over 10 years. The prices are lower than any retail stores.

- I just received my RTA order and I am completly happy. Wood cabinets, no particle board and I saved $1309 from the same order at Home Depot.

- The layout tools you referred to really helped. I was able to take my sketches to HD and they told me which cabinets would fit where. Great advice

- I manufacture what would be called custom cabinets, and I find it hard to use a clients measurements. I would much rather take my own measurements to ensure that what I am building for them is going to fit perfectly. I think your approach fits better for stock cabinets and RTA cabinets.

- I just bought my first rental property and I used the steps you laid out. It was easier than I expected. It was nice to walk into the store and be able to design the 3-D kitchen.... haven't tried the RTA Cabinets yet, but I might take your advice on the next project
