Designer Maternity Clothing

Many soon to be mothers are also career women. Finding clothing that has both career style and comfort can be tricky. My personal favorite is layered clothing to allow you to adjust your own temp to some degree. A nice loose fitting tank with an open front cardigan works great. I like layers because they are classy and functional. As all of us mothers know, pregnancy can make the inner temperature rise suddenly and without notice. Most of the time our co-workers are not as ready to to turn down the thermostat as we are. This is where layers can truly help you to cool down or warm up when needed. Many prefer the Lycra belly panel pants and some like the under belly elastic band. I like the under belly band if it is wide. For me it seemed to give me the support I was looking for without extra layers of fabric. Whichever you prefer both are readily available and in very classy styles from some top name designers.

Isn't that exactly what every woman wants to hear? If your pregnant then shoe shopping is not only good for you, it is necessary. Think about it! Your feet do a very hard and important job all day, everyday. They carry, support and balance mommy to be who at some point begins to be a bit off balance simply by design. Feet swell, they experience fatigue and they deserve pampering. I am a firm believer in this all the time but especially when pregnant.
First you need support and comfort above all else. If you sit at a desk all day I recommend a good support sole shoe and possibly a good pair of house shoes or slippers to keep under your desk for comfort.
I know women who wore high heels their entire pregnancy. While this looks great and we know that great looking shoes can make us feel great, it isn't the best choice. Some of these same women now have serious back problems.
There are many brands and designs on the market you just need to choose something with good support and something that is comfortable. If your feet swell you may even want to get a size or half size larger than you would normally wear.
Just what us ladies need another reason to go shoe shopping!

It's no secret that women love to shop and we really don't need a lot of urging to do so. However, when a woman is pregnant she does need a new wardrobe. We need to be comfy, feel good and look good too. Especially if we are working while pregnant. In addition to that pregnancy is one of the few times in a mothers life when she truly can put the focus on herself. Once the child arrives time for self does seem to take a back seat.
During maternity time we also tend to feel very bloated, big and just generally uncomfortable. More often than not this uncomfortable feeling can be totally remedies by our clothing.
The problem is that many of these designer brands are very expensive and only found in bigger cities. This is where the internet can be a true friend. Most of these designer labels offer free shipping or discounts online. You can many times find them on Ebay and Amazon for a fraction of the retail price!
You can also check with your Dr's office for money saving coupon packets they often provide for expecting mothers. Your favorite Pregnancy magazine usually offers a wide range of maternity coupons.
