Register free and get designer clothes at deep discounts. Save more by earning store credit for referrals.
Here are a few sites I recommend joining for incredible prices on designer jeans, clothing, shoes and accessories. These are online boutique sample sales from a rotating series of high-quality fashion brands and big-name designers. Much of the stock is priced at 50% or more off retail, and on some items you can save as much as 85-90%. It's free to sign up, and you are never obligated to buy anything. You do have to pay for shipping, but that's where the merchandise credit comes in handy. You can earn merchandise credit for referring new members. Once one of your referrals makes a purchase, you will earn anywhere from $10 to $25 in credit (depending on the site.) Then you can use your credit to get free shipping... or, if you're really good at recruiting new members, your credit might pay for entire purchases! If you love designer fashion and incredible discounts, there's really no reason not to join these sites.

Is designer fashion really better?
Share your opinion on designer fashion brands and luxury labels.
Compared to some women, I'm not all that much of a fashionista. I go crazy for designer jeans and I'm willing to pay more for a great pair of boots, high heels or sandals (yes, I've got a lens about gorgeous shoes planned!), but I don't get the designer handbag thing.
Most of the time I'll carry any old bag and not even think of it as an extension of my outfit. For big-deal evenings when I really want to be coordinated and have every little detail of my look planned out, I've got one small designer purse (Coach, black leather, about ten years old and still perfect) and a couple of vintage sequined bags.
With jewelry, I know what I like when I see it and I do tend to prefer handmade items, but I couldn't tell you the names of the most sought-after jewelry designers.
Fetching blurbs now... please stand by

I'm kind of yes and no on this question. I've never had the money for designer clothes and accessories and never really seen any for sale on discount - well none I liked anyway.
However, I hate cheap clothes, shoes and bags. I have bought Mulberry bags at their factory shop where they sell end of lines, samples, seconds, etc and, even there, they aren't cheap, just 25-50% off retail. I'd rather pay that for one wonderful bag with that lovely Mulberry brass medallion than buy 10 cheap bags.
I also buy expensive shoes but only occasionally and spend as much on good clothes as I can. They look good indefinitely if you take care of them whereas cheap clothes don't look good after you've worn them a few times.

I do think designer brand fashion is superior in quality and style. And if you're a smart shopper who never pays full retail price, nobody can accuse you of wasting money or being shallow.

- I hear you. I'm not making thousands writing online either, strangely enough. So you like classic, timeless designer labels (Liz Claiborne, Isaac Mizrahi)... and shiny spandex leggings. Interesting mix of tastes. :)
When it comes to jeans and casual tops, I have a weakness for trendy designer brands. Recently I bought some Ed Hardy women's tees to sell on eBay, and I'm afraid I will have to keep at least one for myself.
