Hi, I have been graphic designing for quite some time now. Basically started out with friends and family. Then I came upon a custom design store, where you could publish your designs and make commission in doing so.

If you have a love of this as I do, hopefullly this lens will help you with finding the right places to go to, sites that offer free shops. Just keep checking back, as this industry is taking off tremendously.

I think they are seeing that alot of people just do not have the time to make their own designs, and that there is a market for someone else to make a design they can purchase that may just be pleasing to them to buy.

WHAT ARE ONLINE DESIGN STORES

Being famiilar now with Customizing via software since 1999 now, in which I basically started by designing custom made cards for family and friends, it has become a whole new world since that time.

Back then, it was quite limited to what you could do online to design. Basically there were a few sites that you could design a custom tee shirt, or personal gift items that you could send to someone. The product was not designed by you using your own graphics, it usually was using their graphics, and on personal gifts it was basically limited to adding your own text to the item.

Now it is endless with the online design stores that you can join, become a shop owner and self design from scratch items from A-Z. You can now design your own graphics, pictures, and simply upload them to the design site and it is much more personal now. Then you can make a profit on each designed product you sell! It takes a lot of hard work, but you can do anything from adding your very own designs, colors, and text to the item you are designing.

It is really wonderful for those people that do not have the time to invest in the custom design, to go on these design sites, find a product they like, and then they can customize, change text, pick different shirts, colors, etc. to their liking. Yet, they do not have to do all the work, the designer has done it for you that owns the gallery or shop.

I wish I had this available back in 1999, as I do much of my Holiday shopping online, and now it is so simple to just make something so special for someone, and yet it really was done personally for them by you. Then they offer shipping right to the address of the person you want to send it to, so you don't have to run the package off to ship yourself.

I highly recommend this method for shopping in this day and age of so many busy people. The items to choose from are endless and so are the beautiful designs on them.
