Sure, the internet is handy but there's nothing like grabbing a cup of coffee and settling in with a good dessert cookbook. There's just something about holding a cookbook and flipping through dessert recipes that is just heartwarming.

My name is Lori, and I spend a lot of time coming up with tasty dessert shooters for my elderly Mother. I started creating these mini dessert out of necessity - a 94 year old doesn't need, nor want, a full dessert (and neither do I but that's beside the point....).

Periodically, I'll pick up a dessert cookbook and get new inspiration for even more delicious desserts. Why not purchase one (or six...) dessert cookbooks to refresh your own dessert repertoire?

How about creating your own dessert cookbook?

One of the best gifts my mom ever gave me was a book of handwritten recipes. I treasure this book every time I pull it out to make mondle bread, banana bread, or her delicious sour cream coffee cake.

Why not share your own family dessert recipes (or any recipe for that matter). This gift is one that will be much cherished for generations to come.
