Plot
Compared to the fictional character Sherlock holmes the story was quite unique and awesome that made it very popular with kids and adults, like the usual detective movie there were a lot of twists and turns.
The plot started with a 17-year-old high school student detective Kudou Shinichi investigating a blackmail case, attacked by two members of an Illegal Organization and was given a poisonous drug. However due to an unknown side effect, the drug did not kill him, but rather it transformed his body into a seven-year-old grade schooler.
Now he adopts the pseudonym Conan Edogawa and hides his identity with his reading glasses as he moves with his childhood friend and lover Rachel Moore. He enrolls in an elementary school while he continues to investigate the whereabouts of the Black Organization and other criminal cases that comes across his path.

It has over 500 manga series written and drawn by Gosho Aoyama. The manga was first serialized in the fifth issue of ShouDnen Sunday in 1994, . The first completed book that was published by Shogakukan in the same year continued. As the series continues the manga became highly popular in Japan and has received multiple first places in bestselling lists in Japan.

The Case Closed anime series first premiered in Japan on January 8, 1996 on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV. Directed by Kenji Kodama and Yasuichiro Yamamoto and produced by Tokyo Movie Shinsha and Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation.
The English dubbed episodes began airing on Cartoon Network and in Canada's YTV. And it also was aired in by the anime television network Animax and broadcast on its English-language networks in Southeast Asia.
The animation of the manga series was really amazing however a few people would prefer reading than watching because it was faster. Usually one episode of the anime takes more than an hour when it only takes minutes to read in a manga series.

There were 12 animated Case Closed movie that was released since 1997. With the exception of the first movie, all Case Closed movies have been one of the highest-grossing movies on the year it was screened in Japan. Mostly all of them had been in a Box Office Hit earning more than 300,000 viewers and over 400 million yen but the most controversial movie ever is the Live Action Movie itself were the animated characters were being played by real life actors and actresses.
