The World has seen some of the Greatest Detectives in history
I was always been a great admirer of the Sherlock Holmes cases by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I sometimes thought that Sherlock Holmes was a real person, when growing up. I loved watching all the Holmes mysteries every sunday morning as a child.Holmes introduced me to logic,as well as induction and deduction.
I have always been captivated by the American comic book. I have found some of the most amazing artwork and storylines in those pages. From out of those vivid graphics leapt the story of a young boy who lost his parents, the story of Bruce Wayne. This young avenger grows up to be the Dark Knight, the Batman who fights crime and is skilled in the art of detection.
Agatha Christie will always be remembered by her two great detectives, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, two personas who have their own lives and who are geniuses in the art of crime detection.
This lens is a tribute to the World's greatest detectives. You are invited to write short pieces on your favourite detective.

- Did you know the Russians had there own twist on Sherlock Holmes? It was made back in the late 70's and early 80's and is really worth a look.

- Hi, Warren! I also love reading detective stories. I especially like Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes. I think Caroline Keene's Nancy Drew is okay too but I've kind of outgrown kind that mystery series. Here's a related site about how private investigators deal with crime and criminal activities. It's quite a good read!
