You Can Be a Great Lie Detector Too..
Well, research showed that everyone told lies everyday! Are you being lied by somebody else? And how to detect lies?
Anyway, the basic way is to watch people's facial expressions in order to determine whether a person is lying or it could help you figure out when somebody's being genuine.
Jury analysts do this when assisting in jury selection. The police do this during an interrogation. Of course a polygraph does this, but it is a little heavy to carry with you.
Therefore, you have to learn the little facial and body expressions that can help you distinguish a lie from the truth. :-)

Body Language of Lies:
- Physical expression will be limited and stiff, with few arm and hand movements. Hand, arm and leg movement are toward their own body the liar takes up less space.
- A person who is lying to you will avoid making eye contact. Or failed to make a longer eye contact with you.
- Hands touching their face, throat & mouth. Touching or scratching the nose or behind their ear. Not likely to touch his chest/heart with an open hand.
